Hi Carl Don't know the Guy but i'll be down doing something with my owd mate Don Forbes sometime this year, bit difficult at present with my own do in Manchester, work commitments and DJ bookings I hear The Lord Hill has been busy though do you go there?. hi there,
looks like the soul scene is being messed with by people that have little knowledge of any real love for it. i'm refering to someone putting in a 'northern soul' gig at the vaults in shrewsbury this april. upon asking who was doing this i was led to a website for a label that releases the worst indie music that you can imagine. and further checking shows that the guy doing it is called john kertland - a guy known to jump on any bandwagon so long as it promotes him. it's time to that you got out there and tried to do something in this area so that chancers like him can be shown to be the idiots they are.

Hi Karen Dancing is my passion and i'm of the opinion that if there's a dance floor then play music u can dance to and i always book guests with that in mind so even the 70ts should be that it's about the floor for me yet i give our guests free rein because i trust their taste and ability to read the floor implicitly , there will be a variety of styles but have always touted this night saying the emphasis is on dancing and having a damn good time ! The odd lush xover trak is welcome though as it's great to hear quality tunes you may not have heard before and my old bones need a bit of a chill between bursts of pretending i'm still 16 ha ha ha ! certainly we try to mix things yet the later it gets things generally get fired and i like my music with a savage beat not a faint pulse ! will check out accomadation today !

Musically there'll be a bit of Ska R&B Xover but mainly quality Soul Rare n not so Rare always aim for a good mix there's always 60ts n 70ts . if you foun us via Soul Source i'll post some accomadtion on there but will also get a page sorted on here tommorrow so bear with me and i'll post details shortly you can meantime check out www.laterooms.com which i always find usefull and always have cheaper rates
